Ape hill is a mountain at west Kaohsiung,is named by Hollander at early 17 century ( before Koxinga's arrive). It is well acknowledged now as Chai-Shan,or firewood hill, and is a hill filled with biodiversity.

Macaque's life
The followings are life of macaque, Ape Hill( Chai-Shan). The macaque is search for salt each other rathe rthan the insects by scratch the pelt.
